Kyiv Demonstrates Growing Domestic Strike Capability
Kyiv, June 2026 — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukrainian forces conducted a long-range strike against a Russian military-industrial facility using the domestically developed FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile. The target was a defense-related plant in Cheboksary, a city located deep inside Russian territory and involved in the production of components for military systems supporting Moscow’s war effort.
