More than 22,000 Pitbull fans transformed London’s Hyde Park into a sea of artificial bald heads, setting a Guinness World Record during the American rapper’s concert. A total of 22,141 attendees wore bald caps before his performance at the British Summer Time festival. The gathering became the largest officially verified concentration of people wearing artificial bald heads.
Many participants completed the transformation with dark aviator sunglasses, suits and false goatees, recreating the distinctive image associated with the Miami-born artist. Dressing like Pitbull has become a recognizable ritual among fans attending his concerts. In London, that tradition expanded into a carefully coordinated spectacle with international recognition.
Guinness officials supervised the attempt because no previous record existed in the category. Pitbull received the official certificate onstage and thanked London, Hyde Park, his followers and bald people. The 45-year-old performer celebrated the moment as another example of his audience turning entertainment into collective participation.
The record adds an unusual chapter to the career of an artist known for global hits including “Timber,” “Fireball” and “Time of Our Lives.” Beyond the numbers, the event showed how a visual joke can evolve into a shared identity between a performer and thousands of fans.
