Spanish cyclist Paula Blasi experienced a difficult day at the Tour de France Femmes after losing valuable time during one of the race’s most demanding mountain stages. The challenging route, featuring multiple classified climbs and relentless attacks among the overall contenders, significantly altered the general classification while forcing several teams to adjust their tactical approach.
Blasi was unable to remain with the leading group during the decisive ascents and eventually ceded time to the principal contenders for the yellow jersey. As the stage unfolded, her responsibilities shifted toward supporting her UAE Team teammate Elisa Longo Borghini, placing collective strategy above individual ambitions in her debut appearance at the Tour.
The stage was won by Dutch rider Demi Vollering following an aggressive finale that also reinforced Marlen Reusser’s overall lead.
