The Austrian alliance will continue into racing’s new technical era.

MATTIGHOFEN, AUSTRIA — July 2026. KTM and Red Bull have renewed their partnership in MotoGP, ensuring that the manufacturer’s prototype motorcycles will continue carrying the energy-drink company’s distinctive branding from 2027. The agreement extends one of motorsport’s most recognizable commercial and sporting alliances. Its duration was not publicly disclosed.

The two Austrian brands have worked together across motocross, supercross, enduro, rally and the Dakar Rally for approximately 25 years. Their MotoGP collaboration began when KTM entered the premier class with the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team in 2017. The partnership also supports the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and KTM’s wider rider-development structure.

KTM has achieved seven Grand Prix victories and 38 race podiums in MotoGP, alongside 26 Sprint podiums. The alliance has also secured championships in Moto3 and Moto2 while helping young riders progress through the international racing system. KTM motorsports director Pit Beirer said the relationship extends far beyond the motorcycles’ colors and includes significant support both at circuits and behind the scenes.

The renewal arrives before MotoGP introduces major technical regulations in 2027, including a reduction in engine capacity from 1,000cc to 850cc. KTM has separately committed to remaining in the championship through the 2027–2031 cycle and is preparing a new generation of machinery for that period. Red Bull’s continued involvement reinforces the financial and commercial foundations of the project.

KTM and Red Bull are entering MotoGP’s next era together.
