The actress is building unprecedented strength for a DC role that remains deliberately secret.

Adria Arjona has revealed the demanding physical routine she is following for her undisclosed role in Man of Tomorrow, James Gunn’s continuation of the new Superman story. Although her participation in the film is confirmed, neither Arjona nor DC Studios has identified the character she will portray.
Her daily programme begins with approximately 45 minutes of cardiovascular exercise, followed by two hours of weight training. After eating and recovering, she completes six rounds of boxing with her trainer. Arjona said the preparation has developed muscles she had never previously achieved and made her feel stronger than at any other point in her life.
Boxing was already part of the actress’s training, but the intensity has increased significantly for the production. The combination of strength, endurance and combat preparation suggests that her character will participate in physically demanding sequences. Arjona has described the routine as exhausting while emphasising that enthusiasm for the role gives her the motivation to continue.
The transformation has intensified fan speculation that she could become the new Wonder Woman in Gunn and Peter Safran’s DC Universe. Other theories have linked her to characters such as the warrior queen Maxima. These possibilities remain unconfirmed, and physical training alone does not establish which role she has received.
Man of Tomorrow will reunite David Corenswet’s Superman with Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor, who are expected to form an uneasy alliance against a larger threat. Rachel Brosnahan will return as Lois Lane, while Lars Eidinger joins the cast as Brainiac. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on July 9, 2027.
