The work was carried out in response to a citizen request aimed at improving mobility and the environment around homes in this area of the town.
El Fuerte, Sinaloa, January 13, 2025. As part of ongoing efforts to improve the town’s appearance and local mobility, Mayor Gildardo Leyva supervised cleaning and rehabilitation work on several access roads in the municipal center, carried out by the Department of Construction and Public Works.
The work focused on access routes near the Gabriel Lugo Morales Baseball Stadium, where crews removed trash and carried out general cleaning in areas that had been improperly used for dumping waste. These actions will improve traffic flow and increase safety for nearby homes, while also contributing to a cleaner and more orderly environment.
The mayor stressed that these efforts were undertaken in direct response to a citizen request, reaffirming his commitment to listening to the community and addressing its needs through concrete actions that promote dignified public spaces.
He also called on residents to help keep these areas clean, encouraging shared responsibility and respect for the urban environment so that the improvements can be preserved and the quality of life in the community can continue to grow.
The Municipal Government will continue to implement cleaning, rehabilitation and maintenance projects in different areas of the municipal center, for the benefit of all residents.
