What makes this especially relevant is that many of these behaviors are socially normalized, which allows them to deepen emotional strain without immediately appearing dangerous.
The real problem is not always intensity, but repetition. A person does not need to experience a visible crisis before mental wellbeing begins to erode. Fragmented sleep, reduced physical movement, persistent overstimulation, or emotional disconnection can gradually affect concentration, mood regulation, resilience, and cognitive clarity.
