Family, motherhood and a quieter routine are shaping her recovery.
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM
Jack Osbourne has said his sister Kelly is in a “much happier place” following the end of her engagement to Slipknot musician Sid Wilson. According to Jack, she has stepped away from much of the surrounding turmoil and is concentrating on raising their son, Sidney, while embracing a quieter life in the countryside.
Kelly and Wilson began their relationship in 2022 after knowing each other for more than two decades. They welcomed Sidney later that year and became engaged backstage at Black Sabbath’s farewell concert in Birmingham in July 2025. The proposal took place shortly before the death of Kelly’s father, Ozzy Osbourne, whose loss placed the family under intense emotional strain.
Reports of difficulties between the couple emerged months later, and their separation became public in 2026. Neither Kelly nor Wilson has provided a complete account of what caused the relationship to end. Unnamed sources have referred to disagreements and different priorities, while Kelly’s social-media messages have suggested unresolved tensions involving personal belongings, their pets and financial support for their son. Those posts have generated speculation, but they do not establish the full circumstances of the breakup.
Jack’s comments offer a more reassuring picture of Kelly’s current condition. He said she is focused on motherhood, personal goals and family life rather than remaining consumed by the separation. Kelly has also spoken publicly about needing to pause, recover and protect her emotional well-being after a period marked by bereavement and relationship upheaval.
The family’s public profile makes privacy difficult, particularly when personal messages are interpreted as evidence about conflicts that remain largely undisclosed. Jack’s assessment should therefore be understood as a supportive brother’s perspective, not an independent account of the relationship. What can be established is that Kelly and Wilson share responsibility for a young child and that she is attempting to create greater stability after two major personal losses.
