Miss Universe 2025 Fátima Bosch arrived in San Pedro Sula as a guest of honor ahead of the Miss Universe Honduras 2026 final, combining the ceremonial duties of her title with a message centered on personal development. The Mexican beauty queen participated in “Creyendo en ti,” a public conversation held at the Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras.
The event brought together hundreds of students, academics, journalists and candidates competing for the Honduran crown. Bosch discussed the obstacles and lessons that shaped her path through international pageantry, emphasizing self-confidence, sustained preparation and resilience when facing criticism or adversity.
Her intervention also reflected the changing expectations surrounding beauty competitions. Bosch argued that contemporary pageants should provide women with platforms for leadership and social action rather than functioning exclusively as aesthetic contests. For the Honduran candidates, her presence offered direct insight into the discipline and sense of purpose required at the highest level of international competition.
Bosch’s visit formed part of an official agenda organized around the Miss Universe Honduras final at the San Pedro Sula Convention Center. She was invited to join the event’s table of honor and crown the successor to Alejandra Fuentes, the outgoing national titleholder.
The appearance was among Bosch’s final international engagements before relinquishing the Miss Universe crown in November. Beyond its promotional value, her participation strengthened the Honduran competition’s international profile and placed mentorship at the center of an industry still negotiating the relationship between beauty, influence and social responsibility.
