Ferrari has presented the 849 Testarossa, a plug-in hybrid supercar that succeeds the SF90 Stradale while reviving one of the most powerful names in its history. The car integrates a four-liter twin-turbo V8 engine delivering 830 horsepower with three electric motors that provide all-wheel drive, torque vectoring, and instantaneous response. Combined, they unleash approximately 1,050 horsepower, enabling acceleration from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in less than 2.3 seconds and a top speed beyond 330 kilometers per hour. Deliveries are scheduled for mid-2026 in Europe, with the Spider version following shortly.
This model is more than a technical showcase. It represents Ferrari’s attempt to balance raw power with adaptability to a new regulatory and cultural environment. The 849 Testarossa incorporates a compact high-voltage battery that allows brief electric-only driving in urban zones, reducing emissions and offering silent operation without losing identity.
