The Hexagon Cup, the innovative team-based international padel tournament, has confirmed a venue change for its third edition: from January 28 to February 1, 2026, the competition will take place at the Caja Mágica, the state-of-the-art sports complex in Madrid that has become synonymous with world-class racket events.
After two successful editions at the Madrid Arena, organizers decided to make the leap to a larger and more technologically advanced venue. The Caja Mágica not only provides increased capacity but also offers better technical conditions and international projection, reinforcing the event’s ambition to grow as a benchmark on the global calendar. The move brings padel to the same courts where Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz have lifted trophies in the past, ensuring a symbolic and prestigious continuity with the city’s sporting tradition.
“This new chapter at the Caja Mágica fills us with excitement and strengthens our commitment to deliver a unique spectacle for players, teams, and fans,” explained Sergio Lewin, Operations & Sporting Managing Director of the Hexagon Cup. “Leaving the Madrid Arena was not easy, as it was the venue where we were born, but with the support of the City Council and the community, we look ahead with optimism.”
Institutional backing has indeed been crucial. Sonia Cea, Madrid’s Delegate Councillor for Sport, emphasized that “Madrid is the world capital of padel, and tournaments like the Hexagon Cup help us consolidate this position. The Caja Mágica is a unique stage where every season the best tennis is played, and now it will also host the best padel.”

For the Game, the Hexagon Cup will maintain its distinctive mixed format: men’s, women’s, and Next Gen teams, ensuring variety and dynamism across the tournament.
