A written prompt becomes a visual in seconds.

WhatsApp users can create artificial intelligence images directly inside the messaging application through Meta AI. The function removes the need to open an external platform, download another program or interrupt an active conversation. Availability may depend on the country, device and version of the application.
The first step is to update WhatsApp and locate the Meta AI icon, usually represented by a blue or multicolored circle. Users can open a direct conversation with the assistant or invoke it within an existing chat when that option is enabled. They must then write a clear description of the image they want to generate.

More precise instructions usually produce more controlled results. A prompt can specify the subject, environment, lighting, visual style, camera angle and dominant elements. Meta AI processes the request and returns an image that can be adjusted through additional conversational instructions.
Users may ask the assistant to change colors, remove objects, modify the background or create a different version without beginning again. Once the result is satisfactory, the image can be saved, forwarded or shared directly with a contact or group. The entire creative process remains inside the familiar WhatsApp interface.

The feature reflects Meta’s strategy of transforming messaging applications into broader generative platforms. It also requires caution because AI-generated images may contain inaccuracies, altered details or misleading representations. Users should avoid entering sensitive personal information and clearly identify synthetic content when it could be mistaken for an authentic photograph.
